What a receipt actually proves

Received, reviewed, and resolved are different.

A receipt can tell you that a system accepted a submission. That is useful, but it does not establish that a person has read it, that a decision has been made, or that a remedy has happened.

A clear status should say which step occurred, what remains open, and who is responsible for the next step. Unknown information should remain unknown rather than being filled in with a reassuring label.

The same distinction matters in a shared project: sending a handoff is not the same as its acceptance. A test passing is not the same as the whole experience working for everyone.
